"Because in a split second, it’s gone" - Ayrton Senna

Gone. But never forgotten!

On 1st May 1994 we lost more than a Formula One driver. We lost Ayrton Senna da Silva. We lost a hero. Two parents lost a son. Two young brazilians lost a brother. Many people lost a friend, and a girl lost her boyfriend. The Brazilian people lost an example, and the world lost a wonderful man. He was just a dreamer. He dreamed with better conditions for poor people, with education for the children and for a world more just. We lost in 1st May 1994, Beco! The silly boy who captivated all of us, nailing something in our hearts.

We lost, and today, we miss him…

The American Radiator Building

I love this building so much.  It overlooks Bryant Park, behind the New York Public LIbrary.  Every time I see it, I am overcome with Building Lust. I hope my brother becomes a bestselling novelist, so he can buy it for me.
